Tapas Local Experience in Barcelona

If discovering a destination through its food is one of the highlights of your travels, this private tapas experience is the perfect introduction to Barcelona.

Our itinerary has been carefully designed to showcase a variety of flavours and styles, we will cross side to side "Ciutat Vella" (The old town) and it's three neighbourhoods: Rabal, Gothic and Born.

Together, we'll visit a carefully selected collection of traditional taverns, local tapas bars, and neighbourhood favourites, where you'll enjoy some of the tastiest examples of Catalan and Spanish cuisine. From iberian ham and "manchego" cheese to regional specialties, every stop has been chosen for its quality, character, and authenticity.

Tapas are much more than small plates, they're a way of life. Sharing good food, taking your time, and enjoying good conversation are at the heart of Mediterranean culture. Throughout the experience, you'll discover how this tradition has evolved across Spain, while learning about the history, local ingredients, and culinary influences that have shaped Catalan gastronomy.

Unlike standard food tours, this is a private experience hosted by someone who genuinely knows and loves the city. We'll share not only exceptional food, but also the stories behind the neighbourhoods, the restaurants, and the people who make Barcelona such an extraordinary place to eat.

And because every experience is private, we're always happy to adapt the route whenever possible, whether you're a seafood lover, a wine enthusiast, curious about local markets, or simply looking for a more relaxed pace.

Come hungry, bring your curiosity, and let us show you the Barcelona we would share with our own friends.
